About the Project
One of the teams of local business professionals working as part of the Clermont 20/20 leadership program were tasked with completing a project for the handful of historical societies in Clermont County Ohio. The project was to make one place that one could go to learn about the individual societies. Because of the short timespan, a physical museum was out of the question, so the team came up with what was to be a sort of landing site that aggregates information from all the societies into one place. This would not only allow for a more easily accessed informational site than many of the societies have, but also serve as a more uniform way for people to learn about the individual societies and make it easier to learn about the rich history of the county.The only problem was that the team didn't know how to design or develop the website, so they used their professional skills to find one. I was awarded the project over a good amount of others and got right down to business developing a clean, easy to use site that allows for a good deal of expansion. I implemented a custom backend based off the same code running my own site that would make it easy to update when I was no longer working on the site myself.
Status: I have completed this project within the expected time.
